Truly the “Cheers” of Downriver. I’ve frequented this place since my early 20’s and the stellar food and friendliness of staff always keeps me coming back. It’s awesome to pop in after an absence of a year or two and get greeted like you had just been there yesterday. Waitresses and Chez definitely make everyone feel like a friend. Should be a got to for relaxation at the end of a hectic day and for catching up and chatting with friends. If you’re feeling adventurous ask to peruse “the box” .... some wicked drinks in that thing.

Got a ceasar salad because the picture looked so good & when I got it I was very upset. Yellow lettuce......WHO EATS THAT?! Very disappointed sooooo not worth it!!! Save your money folks & don't come go there for food🤢

Lincoln Park's version of Cheers! Ches is a human laugh riot, customers are friendly and funny, and the food is great. It has become my favorite pub. Highly recommended from former bar owner.

Chesley's is the BEST place to hit Downriver. The drinks are good and strong and the food is always delicious! It's also reasonable priced.Our waitress, Franny is always so kind and she is damn good at her job. Best burger I've ever had! Chesley's will always be our first pick for good food, drinks, service and fun in all of downriver!

So I've passed this place a million times and trying it today . Ok the 1 st waitress took her time coming over and she never said may I help you when she took my order and when she brought the food she just sat it down no words. Wow, so the food good chicken parmesan, but the service sucked to me maybe I was out of my element. People staring at me. I had to go to bar to pay my bill and she never said thank you.. 🦗🦗🦗🦗 crickets don't worry I won't be back

We love Chesleys! The owner is really cool and personable, and they have all of the newest trends and styles of drinks while still feeling like a classic/historic dive. Even though we don't know everyone in there it feels like Cheers. Always a good vibe in Chesleys. During the COVID stuff they have a patio set up for anyone who wants to sit outside and it's centrally located downriver. We'll be back😁

Debbie & Rihanna we’re so helpful and friendly, they really make you feel welcome! Are party 🎉 of three ordered the Tuna Melt Sandwich 🥪 w/ Swiss Cheese 🧀, a Hamburger 🍔 Medium, and Sauerkraut, Pierogies and Polish Sausage, each meal 🥘 was under $9.00. We later went to the park for a free concert 5 blocks North on Fort Ave. how convenient! 👍😁👌!

If you can catch the right bar tender sitting at the bar works. Chesley , Frannie, Carrie are outstanding! Shannon kicks A$$ on the floor. Food is good but getting very pricey for most working class people.

I love this place. The staff here is the best, they're friendly and make it an enjoyable experience.

Cozy and quiet. The type of place with a lot of regulars. They make a decent burger, and have a couple must tries on the menu, like the Hungarian hangover.

Service was just okay, lots of creeps in the bar when we went. Drinks were great though!!

Nice neighborhood bar. I have to change my review from 7 months ago. Unfortunately it's a bad review. This place has lost its appeal. Customer service is really bad. I stopped in tonight and sat at the bar while the bartender chatted with people at the other end. I was sitting there for 14 minutes. Never looked down or came over to take a drink order. I get It..you get involved in conversation with regulars and guests appreciate conversations with the servers. But you have to look around and and pay attention to others. Now this has happened more then once. I got up and went down the street. I just moved downriver and maybe stopped in a dozen or more times. Trying to find a local bar that I would visit regularly. I give up on your establishment. I owned a bar .mr or mrs owner, you have to retrain your staff. You went from 5 star to 2

Excellent service, excellent food, great clientele, and an ever changing back bar offering various selections that are in line with current trends. There is a pretty extensive and competitive bottled beer selection as well. You simply cannot go wrong walking through the door as you will definitely be happy to come back again and again!!!

We went at 10 PM, it was busy on a Friday night. Our waitress was very attentive to our group of 6. The Perch dinner was great. My friends fish and chips was really good too!
